Manage email preferences

Overview
Use email preferences to choose which messages you receive from Moxie Docs. You can opt in or out of weekly Friday Recaps and occasional documentation nudges. Your choices are saved to your account and you’ll see a clear confirmation after you update them.
This feature is for anyone who wants to reduce noise or stay informed on their own terms.
When to use it
- You want weekly Friday Recaps summarizing doc changes and activity.
- You prefer fewer emails and want to turn off recaps or nudges.
- You’re new to the team and want to start with nudges, then dial them back later.
How to use it
- Open the Moxie Docs dashboard and sign in.
- Click your avatar or name in the top-right corner to open the account menu.
- Select Account, then click Email preferences.
- Check or uncheck the boxes for the emails you want:
- Weekly Friday Recap
- Documentation nudges
- Click Save preferences.
- Confirm the status message at the top of the page. You’ll be redirected with a clear success banner showing your saved choices.
Options and settings
- Weekly Friday Recap: A once-a-week summary of noteworthy documentation activity and cleanups.
- Documentation nudges: Occasional reminders to review or improve docs, based on recent changes or drift alerts.
- Save preferences: Applies your selections immediately and shows a confirmation banner.
- Preferences are stored per user, so your choices follow you across sessions and devices.
Tips
- If you’re not seeing recaps after opting in, check your spam or promotions folder and add the sender to your contacts.
- You can change your selections anytime; updates take effect for future emails.
- New teammates often start with both emails on, then turn off nudges once workflows feel steady.
