Account and email preferences
2 min readUpdated
Overview
Use Account settings to control which product emails Moxie Docs sends you, and to permanently delete your account when you're done. Notification changes apply immediately across every workspace you belong to.
When to use it
- Turn off the weekly recap if it's noise for you.
- Turn on nudges so you notice documentation PRs that are ready to review.
- Manage marketing and product-update emails separately from product notifications.
- Permanently delete your account and remove your personal data.
How to use it
- Open Account settings, then go to the Notifications & emails tab.
- Choose your product emails. Two toggles are available:
- Friday Recap emails — a weekly summary whenever a recap exists for a workspace you belong to.
- Documentation nudges — a notification when documentation PRs are ready for you to review.
- Click Save email preferences.
- Manage marketing emails separately, further down the same page — these are tips and product updates, independent of the recap and nudge toggles above.
- If you want to delete your account, go to the Data controls tab instead.
- Open the "Delete your Moxie account" section.
- Type your account email into the confirmation field exactly as shown, then click Delete account. This takes effect immediately — there is no follow-up email link to click.
Options and settings
- Friday Recap emails: On/Off. Weekly summary of recent documentation and PR activity.
- Documentation nudges: On/Off. Notifies you when a documentation PR needs review.
- Marketing & product emails: Managed separately from the two toggles above.
- Delete your Moxie account: Removes you from shared workspaces, cancels billing for any solo workspace you own, deletes your user record, and signs you out.
Tips
- Every recap email includes a one-click unsubscribe link if you'd rather stop it from there.
- Turning off both toggles doesn't hide activity in the dashboard — you can still review everything in Moxie anytime, you just won't get emailed about it.
- Account deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. Anyone can delete their own account; nobody can delete it on your behalf.
