Delete your account and feedback

2 min read•Updated Jul 23, 2026

Overview

Use account deletion to permanently remove your access to Moxie Docs and erase your personal Q&A feedback. This protects your privacy while respecting your organization’s rules for workspace membership and content.

After deletion, you won’t be able to sign in or see your team’s knowledgebase, Friday Recaps, or Q&A history tied to your account.

When to use it

  • You’re leaving the organization or no longer need Moxie Docs.
  • You want your personal Q&A feedback removed for privacy.
  • You need to ensure your user access to workspaces is fully revoked.

How to use it

  1. Open the Moxie Docs dashboard and select your avatar in the top-right corner.
  2. Click Account to open your account settings.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Delete account.
  4. Review what will be removed and what your organization keeps, as shown in the confirmation dialog.
  5. Confirm by typing the requested confirmation text (if prompted) and click Delete account.
  6. Check your email for a confirmation (if sent). Once processed, you’ll be signed out and lose access to all connected workspaces.

What’s removed and what stays

  • Your Moxie Docs user account is deleted. You can’t sign back in with it.
  • Your membership in any workspaces is removed, subject to your organization’s rules. Some orgs may retain minimal records of past membership for auditing.
  • Your Q&A feedback comments and reactions are erased to protect your privacy. This includes feedback you left on AI answers and changelog entries.
  • Team content like repos, docs, knowledgebase articles, Friday Recaps, PRs, drift alerts, and automation settings are not deleted. These belong to the organization and remain for other members.

Options and settings

  • Delete account: Starts the deletion flow and shows a summary of what will be removed.
  • Organization rules: If your org enforces retention or audit logs, you may see a notice explaining what minimal records can remain (for example, the fact that a user once existed, without Q&A feedback details).

Tips

  • If you only want to stop notifications, adjust your notification settings instead of deleting your account.
  • If you belong to multiple workspaces, deletion removes you from all of them in one step.
  • You can’t recover erased Q&A feedback after deletion. Consider exporting any personal notes before you proceed.
  • If you think you’ll need access again later, ask your admin whether deactivation is available as an alternative.
