Give feedback on answers
This page explains how to rate answers in the Docs Q&A panel and share context with tags and comments. You’ll learn how your feedback improves answer quality over time.
Where you can leave feedback
You can leave feedback directly under any answer in the Docs Q&A panel using the inline feedback widget. Each rating is attached to the specific answer it appears under.
Submit a thumbs up or thumbs down
Use thumbs to quickly show whether an answer helped.
- Open the Docs Q&A panel in your Moxie Docs workspace.
- Ask a question or select an existing question to view its answer.
- Click the Thumbs up icon if the answer is helpful, or Thumbs down if it isn’t.
Add tags and a comment
Tags and comments help your team understand what worked and what didn’t.
- Choose one or more tags from the tag list that appears after you rate. Examples include accuracy, completeness, clarity, or relevance (availability may vary by workspace).
- Type an optional comment to explain why you chose that rating. Be specific about what was correct, missing, or confusing.
- Click Submit to save your feedback.
Tips for useful comments:
- Point to a specific sentence or section that was helpful or incorrect.
- Note what you expected to see, such as missing setup steps or outdated behavior.
- Include keywords from your question so others can find similar feedback.
How your feedback is used
Your feedback is tied to the original answer in the Q&A panel, so teams can review ratings alongside the response you saw. Over time, this helps:
- Measure answer quality across questions and repos.
- Identify common issues (for example, unclear steps or out-of-date details).
- Guide updates to generated docs and Q&A behavior so future answers improve.
Edit or change your feedback
If you need to correct your input:
- Return to the same answer in the Docs Q&A panel.
- Click the opposite thumb to change your rating, or update your tags and comment if the widget allows editing.
- Submit your changes.
Troubleshooting
- If you don’t see the feedback widget, make sure you are viewing an answer in the Docs Q&A panel and are signed in to your workspace.
- If tags don’t appear after rating, try refreshing the page and rate again.
- For ongoing issues, contact your workspace admin to confirm your plan and permissions support Q&A feedback.
