Set your collection preferences

2 min read•Updated Sep 20, 2026

Overview

Collections group your docs into clear themes like "Get started," "Understand the architecture," and "Operate & deploy" on Docs Home. You can choose favorites and set the order of collections so the most important content appears first. This helps new teammates onboard faster and makes daily navigation quicker for everyone.

When to use it

  • You want "Get started" and onboarding content front and center for new hires.
  • You frequently open the same collections and want them at the top.
  • You need a consistent order for team walkthroughs or training.
  • You’re streamlining Docs Home to match how your team works.

How to use it

  1. Open Docs Home from your Moxie Docs dashboard.
  2. Review the collections grid to see the available collections (for example, "Get started," "Understand the architecture," "Operate & deploy").
  3. Choose favorites by marking the collections you visit most often so they’re highlighted for quick access. If you don’t see a star or favorite control, continue to the next step and rely on ordering instead.
  4. Set the order of collections so the most important ones appear first on Docs Home. Move the collections into your preferred sequence.
  5. Confirm your changes and return to Docs Home to make sure your favorites and order look right.
  6. Use your personalized layout during onboarding and daily work. Adjust favorites or order anytime as your needs change.

Options and settings

  • Collections: The groups shown on Docs Home, such as "Get started," "Understand the architecture," and "Operate & deploy."
  • Favorites: A way to mark collections you want quick access to.
  • Order: The sequence collections appear in on Docs Home.

Tips

  • Keep "Get started" first to speed up new teammate onboarding.
  • Limit favorites to the collections you open daily so the grid stays focused.
  • Revisit your order after major documentation changes to keep navigation efficient.
